Partners For Kids-credentialed primary care providers must participate in at least one activity that satisfies the Partners For Kids network requirement by December 31, to ensure eligibility for 2022 incentive bonuses. Click here to view qualifying activities that will help you meet the 2022 network requirement.
Partners For Kids also offers monthly training sessions for credentialed behavioral health providers in collaboration with Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Participants earn CEUs and credit toward the Partners For Kids behavioral health incentive program continuing education requirement. Be sure to register through Cloud CME to receive a link to the training, materials, credit for participation and CEUs. Instructions for using Cloud CME can be found here. | |

Partners For Kids Quarterly Webinar – “Reproductive Healthcare: Considerations for LGBTQ Youth” |
The next Partners For Kids Quarterly Webinar takes place Thursday, February 3, from noon to 1 p.m. Our featured speaker is Gayathri Chelvakumar, MD, MPH, who will address sexual health disparities seen in the LGBTQ youth population, provide tips on obtaining an affirming sexual health history, and present approaches to promoting LGBTQ-inclusive reproductive health care. CareSource Continuous Glucose Monitor Coverage Update |
On November 15, 2021, CareSource announced changes to coverage of Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM). An update was announced in the December Partners For Kids newsletter. Since then, CareSource has rescinded the related notices and is not currently implementing any change to CGM coverage. As such, CGMs will continue to be covered through both pharmacy and medical benefits. | |

CareSource Policy for Behavioral Health Readmission |
CareSource has developed a policy, taking effect January 15, to target Behavioral Health readmission within 30 days of previous hospitalization. This change impacts payment and payment process. Click here to read the full details on the new policy. | |

CareSource 2022 Provider Orientation Webinars |
CareSource announced their 2022 Live Provider Orientation Webinar will be offered at 12:30 p.m. on February 11, June 10 and October 14. The webinar will cover CareSource’s prior auth processes and time frames, along with efficiency in determining if a procedure needs a prior auth. CareSource will also discuss how to utilize their provider maintenance function online. Dr. Dale Block, vice president, Ohio Market chief medical officer, will also speak on “What’s New in Population Health Management and Quality Improvement.” Click here to learn more and register. | |
